# Falcons, Virtus.pro, FUT and Bigodes reach the Worlds groups

[Falcons](https://sarpbc.org/team/team-falcons-rl), [Virtus.pro](https://sarpbc.org/team/virtus-pro-rl), [FUT Esports](https://sarpbc.org/team/fut-esports-rl) and [Bigodes](https://sarpbc.org/team/bigodes-rl) advanced from the RLCS 2026 Worlds Play-In in Fort Worth on 15 September. Four of eight teams reached the group stage; [Five Fears](https://sarpbc.org/team/five-fears), [Mate y Tapa](https://sarpbc.org/team/mate-y-tapa), [TSM](https://sarpbc.org/team/tsm-rl) and [R8 Esports](https://sarpbc.org/team/r8-esports-rl) are out.

Falcons opened Worlds in this bracket, a month after [winning the Esports World Cup](https://sarpbc.org/news/falcons-win-ewc-2026). [dralii](https://sarpbc.org/player/dralii), [Kiileerrz](https://sarpbc.org/player/kiileerrz) and [Rw9](https://sarpbc.org/player/rw9) beat FUT 3-1, then R8 3-1, and took the upper-bracket path into groups.

Virtus.pro did the same. [Tawk](https://sarpbc.org/player/tawk), [Wahvey](https://sarpbc.org/player/wahvey) and [2Piece](https://sarpbc.org/player/2piece) swept Bigodes 3-0 in the opener, then beat Mate y Tapa 3-1.

The last two tickets went through the lower bracket. Bigodes — [Bemmz](https://sarpbc.org/player/bemmz), [nxghtt](https://sarpbc.org/player/nxghtt) and [Drufinho](https://sarpbc.org/player/drufinho) — beat Five Fears 3-1 and took out R8 3-2. FUT recovered from the Falcons loss with a 3-1 over TSM and a 3-0 sweep of Mate y Tapa, the EU LCQ winners.

The four qualifiers joined the 12 directly seeded teams in a 16-team group stage. Worlds runs through 20 September at Dickies Arena.
