AcroniK announced his retirement from professional Rocket League on X on October 23, a few hours after an interview with Xpére went online. The Portuguese player currently plays for Magnifico.

AcroniK. @AcroniKWith that, I know it’s not the best words for retirement but tbh I don’t want to write a big text to say that I’m retiring. Thank you all. See you in my next chapter! ❤️View on X

"With that, I know it's not the best words for retirement but tbh I don't want to write a big text to say that I'm retiring. Thank you all. See you in my next chapter!" he wrote, quoting the interview post. In the conversation with his former coach, he thanked fans for the journey and said he would most likely stick around, "might not be with Rocket League," while looking at opportunities outside the game and a possible return to streaming.

Peak years: Liquid, 2021-22

AcroniK's name was made with Team Liquid. He arrived in October 2021 with coach Xpére, then formed the core of the "youngest" RLCS roster alongside Oski and Atow, signed in February 2022 after a Monaco Gaming Show final.

The climb was quick. Liquid finished runner-up at the 2022 Spring EU Regional 2, reached a first Major in London (7th at the Spring Major), then closed the Fall split with the organization's first RLCS regional win since entering the scene in 2020 (Fall Invitational, 4-2 over Karmine Corp). The same trio later won a Winter regional, made a Winter Major top four and finished 3rd-4th at the 2023 World Championship in Düsseldorf, still the high point of that Liquid run.

In the interview, AcroniK named that first Major qualification and that first regional title as the Liquid moments he remembers most. He also said that after Worlds 2023, a contract still running into the next season left him with few options when Liquid left Rocket League in November 2023; the years that followed never matched that peak.
