Falcons sweep Spacestation to win EWC 2026

Falcons have claimed the Esports World Cup 2026 title after a 4-0 sweep of Spacestation Gaming in the grand final in Paris.

dralii, Kiileerrz and Rw9 did not drop a series game on Championship Sunday, after also sweeping Karmine Corp 4-0 in the semifinals. The path there still had a scare: Falcons trailed 1-2 against Twisted Minds in the quarterfinals before taking the series 4-2.

Karmine Corp arrived in Paris as the team to beat, defending champions and recent Paris Major winners. The groups never quite backed that up. After an opening win they were swept 0-3 by Spacestation, then needed seven games against R8 Esports just to reach the playoffs. The 4-3 over Vitality in the quarters looked more like the KC everyone expected, but it did not settle the form question. Championship Sunday did. Vatira, Atow and juicy were a non-factor against Falcons, then blanked 0-3 by NIP.eStar in the bronze match.

The trophy had been the missing piece. Falcons finished runners-up in 2024 and third in 2025; this time there was no debate. It is their first Rocket League EWC title, it makes dralii the first player to win three Esports World Cup events, and it makes Kiileerrz and Rw9 the first Saudi players to lift an EWC trophy.

The win is worth $400,000 and 1,000 Club Championship points, enough to put Falcons top of the club table on 4,400 points, 300 clear of AG.AL heading into the final week. Spacestation leave with $180,000 and 750 points in second.
