Ikkaku, the roster of ExoTiiK, yujin and Rezears with coach Ekon, has won the first Open Qualifier of the Coupe de France Slash Rocket League. France TV Slash said on X that the team "will now get to take on the invited teams".

The trio and its coach announced their project on October 23 without an organization and said they were open to offers (our coverage). ExoTiiK had left Vitality a few days earlier (our coverage). They now compete under the Ikkaku name.

Two qualifiers, four invited teams

Slash runs two Open Qualifiers, each sending one team to the main event, with €15,000 in prize money at stake (Slash on X). Registration for the second qualifier closed on October 29. Its winner has not been announced yet.

The invited side of the field is now complete. Vitality was named first (our coverage), followed by Geekay Esports (our coverage). Karmine Corp is the third invited team. Slash presented the club as last year's finalist, back to chase what slipped away.

New rosters on show

Slash did not name players with either invitation. Karmine Corp has just rebuilt around M0nkey M00n, reyyn and bibbaba, with Extra staying as head coach (our coverage). Gentle Mates now fields Vatira, Atow and zen (our coverage). If both clubs bring those rosters, the Coupe de France would come before their Club Kick-Off in London, from December 9 to 13. Vitality and Geekay have not posted their lineups for the event.

The competition runs from November 2 to 12 and is broadcast on Slash's channels with RocketBaguette (edition details).
