zen and Atow are the RLCS 2026 2v2 World Champions. Competing as No Miss Just Fake, the duo beat Team Falcons, Rw9 and Kiileerrz, 4-3 in the grand final at Dickies Arena on 19 September, earning $100,000 and closing the second of three world-title weekends at Fort Worth.
The final
The 2v2 World Championship brought together the four regional open winners: Europe's No Miss Just Fake, North America's Spacestation Gaming pairing of reveal and zach, MENA's Team Falcons twins, and South America's Backyardigans duo.
Zen and Atow reached the final without dropping a series. They dispatched Spacestation 4-1 in the semifinal. Falcons needed seven games to survive their semifinal, then pushed the grand final to a decider as well. No Miss Just Fake held on 4-3.
| Round | Result |
|---|---|
| Semifinal | No Miss Just Fake 4-1 Spacestation Gaming |
| Semifinal | Team Falcons 4-3 Backyardigans |
| Final | No Miss Just Fake 4-3 Team Falcons |
The run that led here
The result was less a surprise than a confirmation. Zen and Atow won the EU 2v2 Open in June with a 44-1 game record across qualifiers and the main event: one of the most dominant runs in RLCS history. They swept Gentle Mates in the grand final and never looked back.
At Worlds they were still the team to beat. Falcons brought the firepower of Rw9 and Kiileerrz, fresh off an Esports World Cup title with Falcons in 3v3, but the European duo had spent the whole season proving that chemistry beats raw individual star power in 2v2.
What it means
2026 is the first RLCS season with 2v2 as a full competitive mode alongside 3v3 and 1v1. Zen and Atow are its first world champions. The prize pool for the four-team LAN bracket was $170,000; runners-up Falcons take $50,000.
For the players, the timeline is striking. Atow won the Paris Major with Karmine Corp in 3v3, then paired with zen, a Vitality player, for 2v2. Vitality was eliminated from the 3v3 Worlds playoffs on 18 September; Karmine Corp remains in the upper bracket. Zen and Atow, meanwhile, have the 2v2 trophy. nass had already won the 1v1 title the night before. One format down, one decided; the 3v3 champion follows on Championship Sunday.
